1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using In The Groove ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

In The Groove is a vinyl record collection and listening session tracker. The Service allows you to:

• Sync and manage your vinyl collection from Discogs
• Track and log your listening sessions
• Receive notifications for side flips and other reminders
• View statistics about your listening habits
• Track stylus wear and maintenance

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

The Service currently operates on an invite-only basis. Invite codes are non-transferable and may only be used once.

4. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including Discogs. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third party's terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content provided by third-party services.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Upload malicious code or content
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by In The Groove and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your collection data remains yours; we claim no ownership over your personal collection information.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for any damage to your equipment or loss of data that may result from using the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, In The Groove shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

9. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
